12 young Lutheran Finns, 16 years old, visited Murcia in November. It was an exchange with families of the city, where they have spent a few days learning to know how we live our faith.

They have visited the most important holy places in the region, such as Caravaca and the Sanctuary Virgen de la Fuensanta. But they wanted to contact the Jesuits in Murcia  to know how young people live their faith.

At the Pastoral Centre the activity consisted of reading Ephesians 2, 14-22 in Spanish and English and working in groups with several questions. At first it was difficult for them to break the ice, both groups looked at each other in the distance, they smiled… But some Taizè songs turned the encounter into a celebration of friendship and communion. Jesus of Nazareth was the one who gathered us there. At the end of the meeting, they did not want to leave. People exchanged addresses and phones and the promise to keep in touch to know each other better.
