On November 2-9, 2025, Father General Arturo Sosa made a significant pastoral visit to the Spanish Jesuit Province, reaffirming the Society of Jesus's commitment to education, social justice, and Ignatian spirituality across Spain. The visit highlighted the Province’s focus on revitalizing its apostolic projects for the years 2025-2030.
During his stay, Father General visited four schools that form part of the Mediterranean Apostolic Platform, engaging deeply with students, educators, and Jesuit communities. These visits underscored the vital role Jesuit education plays in shaping young people to become agents of social transformation grounded in Gospel values.
The provincial leadership organized a series of formation sessions and strategy meetings between November 6 and 8, emphasizing networks of collaboration, Ignatian pedagogy, and leadership formation. The sessions encouraged renewed dedication to forming communities “for others,” enhancing vocational culture, and integrating lay and religious participants in the Province’s mission.
