Great fashion for the reintegration of prisoners into society. Worlds closer today thanks to the commitment of a luxury colossus like Gucci and an organisation like Sesta Opera San Fedele, an association that has been involved in volunteer work in Milan's prisons for almost 100 years.

The aim is to give inmates useful tools to cope with society and build bridges. "With the recent situation brought about by Covid," explains President Prof. Chiaretti, "we have enhanced the computer labs. There are no interviews with family members and volunteers, no direct contacts. We use the computers we have to make contacts between prisoners in jail or under house arrest and volunteers". Particularly in tune with Gucci, computer courses have been set up.

"An idea born from the encounter between our experience and their company policy, which facilitates voluntary activities for employees, up to 4 paid days". This created the opportunity to invite them to live this experience already in 2019 in prison. Hence the idea of computer training. From the 4 days, the project expanded to much more, thanks to the willingness of the employees and the relationships they were able to create. "The volunteer who approaches the prisoner often harbours prejudices. On the other hand, we have found open-minded and non-judgmental people, who are very positive in an apparently frivolous world far removed from the issues of justice and prison, such as the world of fashion. The guests, who know Gucci as a great brand, were delighted.
