School-leavers visit Greece.
From the 28th of October to the 4th of November the final year students of the high schools of the Jesuit colleges of Palermo, Messina, Rome, Turin and Milan went to Greece for an educational trip to learn about its history, culture, but also its conflicts and difficulties. About 250 students and professors spent intense days discovering the remains of the famous Hellenic civilization and the traces of early Christianity. Amidst the traffic of Athens and Thessaloniki or along the deserted freeways, one could notice the contrast between the fertile land and marks of ruin inflicted by modernism. The students' travel journal can be found on the Jesuit Education website.
