MAGIS: A 30-year commitment.

For 77% of Italians it is essential to continue to help the people of the South of the world, while only 19% are contrary to it. Only 20% of those interviewed, however, are willing to make their own financial contribution and make a personal commitment towards this. This is part of the result of the survey "Mission, international solidarity and the Italian lifestyle" held by Censis, in collaboration with Magis Foundation. The full result was explained during the symposium "What is the future of solidarity? The relevance of keeping a missionary spirit alive today” organized on the occasion of Magis 30th anniversary, on November 21 at the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome. "At a time when we are witnessing episodes of closure and the raising of walls and barriers between people – Fr. Renato Colizzi commented - Magis decided to explore the topic of solidarity and reflect on international and missionary collaboration in the contemporary world. A video clip in Italian, English and French about the missionary work carried out by Magis during these thirty years was uploaded by the EUM Communications Office and Kaleidon to spread peace and culture to the world, building together a future based on solidarity.
