The ecological project of the PAL (Local Apostolic Platform) of Valladolid y León, is a commitment involving all members and works. The PAL calendar proposes various activities linked to a single ecological project for all apostolic institutions. 

Under the naming of #LosMartesVerdes this ecological agenda reflects a common work inspired by the Laudato Si´ trying to show that it is possible the life style proposed by Pope Francis. There are new initiatives every year and now every institution has incorporated an action. All these initiatives have been accompanied by reflection and prayer (eco-retreats, ecological conversion week for religious life, eco-Easter, ecological exercises, talks and conferences) to help us for conversion.

The ecological initiative "Come Sano Come Justo" presents this week a photography exhibition dedicated to local ecological producers and very present in the shop. It also extends its invitation to recharge bottles of water to reduce plastic consumption.

Some other actions are: 

• An eco-retreat on November 10th.
• The presentation of the results of a local research on circular economy carried out byINEA. This study also involves “Come Sano Come Justo” (Healthy eating, fair eating).
• Training of Entreculturas in the city schools dedicated to the Care for our Common Home. 
• Graphic support of the Jesuit office SJDigital to gain visibility for these actions. 
• The "sustainable gestures" of Red Incola with the attention to the most vulnerable. 
• The weekly ecological menu of San José School.
• Consuming ecological coffee in Cristo Rey institute
• Caring sustainable buildings such as Menéndez and San José...

"Everything is connected" Pope Francis said on many occasions. These words are in the calendar of #LosMartesVerdes. The Jesuit works of the PAL are also connected: all the activities have impact in the others.
