According to the tradition, on the weekend after the Solemnity of All Saints, the 38th Ignatian Spirituality Course was held in Częstochowa. The theme of this year's meeting was "Different ways of praying according to St. Ignatius Loyola".

Fathers Robert Grzywacz, Artur Wenner and Dariusz Piórkowski discussed the three ways of prayer proposed by Father Ignatius in the booklet of Spiritual Exercises. Father Jacek Poznański talked about the so-called 'requests for grace' in the retreats, and Father Wacław Królikowski presented the role and meaning of 'Concluding conversation in meditations and contemplations ĆD'. The texts of the deliberations will probably be printed in a post-competition publication.

The course was attended by 65 people. Half of them were Scholastics from Cracow and Warsaw, as well as spiritual directors assisting in Ignatian retreats, CLC members and other people who wanted to deepen their knowledge about Ignatian spirituality.

The Sunday morning was an opportunity to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Father Józef Augustyn's scientific, retreat and writing work. Father Wacław Królikowski presented the jubilee book of Father J. Augustine, and then the jubilarian himself spoke about it: "Spiritual Exercises in the face of the challenges of the modern Church. Diagnosis and perspectives".
