At the beginning of September, the annual edition of the Ecological and Solidarity Market of INEA (Jesuit School of Agricultural Engineering in Valladolid) was held to celebrate the start of the course. It is a special occasion to meet with colleagues in the open air, share a table and support a charity project buying organic and fair trade products: vegetables donated by INEA gardeners and Urban gardens;  Capeltic coffee from “Come Sano Come Justo”, Moroccan tea from Red Incola; bread, cheese, organic Italian pasta, cosmetics and crafts from people with mental illness.

On this occasion the benefits were for an Entreculturas project to build the future of vulnerable women in Guatemala. Every year more people come to the Market. More than 300 people joined for a lunch. They ate paella, gazpacho and freshly cut on the ecological farm of INEA watermelon.

In addition to members and collaborators of the Jesuit institutions in the city, neighbourhood associations and councillors of the City Council gave a gratitude diploma to the collaborators. They take care of the community gardens and guide the visitors that come to the gardens of the INEA farm.
