Conclusion of the meeting of the joint consults (EUM)

Ignatian formation, proclamation of the Gospel, attention given to the relationships and the dynamics of individual communities, listening to the poor and a holistic ecological approach: these are the four main apostolic objectives that emerged from the meeting of the joint canonical and apostolic consults of the Jesuits of the Euro-Mediterranean Province held in Frascati from 1 to 4 June.

The objective was to analyse the work that has been carried out so far on the Apostolic Project Plan, a process of personal and communal discernment in which all the Ignatian communities of Italy, Malta, Albania and Romania were involved for a period of one year: “in the next weeks we shall indicate to the Province working plans which we will pursue during the coming years”, Fr. Gianfranco Matarazzo, Superior of the Euro-Mediterranean Province”, explains, “objectives resulting from our common reflection on the orientations and criteria. These will be precise indications on what will be done, how to achieve it and in what measure.”
