Two Jesuits from Malta, Patrick Magro SJ and Mark Kimario Sj who is from Tanzania and currently serving at St Aloysius College in Malta, as well as a friend of the Jesuits, Mario Farrugia, will be joining the Jesuit Missions UK team to take on the gruelling 42 Km London Marathon to raise funds for projects in Uganda and India. Fr Patrick Magro has also accepted the challenge to run the course wearing the Jesuit Missions' mascot costume, a woolly Womble!

The money raised will support the Jesuit Refugee Service in Uganda in their efforts to empower and integrate refugees and asylum seekers there, while increasing access to education. Funds will also go towards a project run by Jesuits in India, where much valuable work is being done with women who are vulnerable to exploitation and trafficking, while providing them with training and new skills.

The London Marathon will take place on 22nd April.

Anyone who would like to support the cause are kindly invited to make a secure online donation here https://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/PatrickMagro or here https://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/MarioFarrugia

You are also invited to share the above links on your social media to help increase our reach and appeal. Thank you!
