On 4 February 120 people gathered to pray and reflect on the Pope's intention for the month of February: the fight against corruption.

The Pope's World Wide Prayer Network and the Christian Life Community (CLC) in Braga have joined together in the organization of “Verde ou Maduro”, which has been held annually at Casa da Torre for more than 15 years. Following the suggestion of Fr. Bruno Nobre sj, who led the meeting, the participants began by asking for the grace to be indignant with personal sin and with the sin of the world. Topics such as "Corruption in Sacred Scripture" and "Spiritual Dynamism in the Heart of the Corrupt" filled the morning with countless questions, debates, conversations, and many unrest.

After lunch, in a panel composed of 7 elements of CLC, it was possible to reflect on the small corruptions of everyday life in the areas of health, education, research, business and parish. Throughout the day, also the smallest ones from the 1st to the 8th. year of schooling were invited to think "what are the evils" of their day to day activities in “Verde ou Maduro” Junior.

In an atmosphere of joy and communion, after the meal, we celebrate the Eucharist, united with the Pope in his intention to pray that those who have material, political or spiritual power will not allow themselves to be dominated by corruption.
