2016 in Entreculturas: 168 projects in 41 countries and 191,125 people reached.

Entreculturas presented in Madrid its annual activity report and the report "Quality Education, Committed Education" evaluating the AECID Agreement on educational quality for vulnerable populations in 17 Latam countries.

The annual report "The Earth is our best school" is a tribute to the care of the Earth and its relationship with the promotion of human rights and access to education. Daniel Villanueva, Entreculturas General Director said "our initiatives have this approach, from the intervention in cooperation, to our work of citizenship, education in values and communication for development".

Last year Entreculturas learned a lot from the Earth and drew attention to the consequences that environmental degradation has on the right to education and education as a generator of sustainable development. During the past year, Entreculturas has been in 168 projects in 19 countries in Latam, 17 in Africa, 3 in Asia and 2 in Europe. 41 countries where 191,125 beneficiaries have been reached. Our projects have behind many faces, people, lives. We do not understand our commitment if it is not through the education of the most vulnerable people as a fundamental tool to achieve development, an education that enables a dignified life" explained Daniel Villanueva.

The report "Quality Education, Committed Education" was presented to show the work carried out between 2010 and 2015 together with the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID) with the Educational Quality Agreement for the insertion of poor populations in Latam countries through 38 projects.
