On September 4th, the Jesuit Primary School in Gdynia greeted its first students . They were 92 in all.

To kick off the scholastic year,  Holy Mass was celebrated among great joy. For the first time, students got a taste of the challenges awaiting them. The twirling show given by some of the them symbolized the promising and positive transformation that takes place at school.

It did not take children that long to feel comfortable in this new environment. The integration camps, which saw them familiarizing themselves with fellow students and with the character of the school, certainly contributed to this. Besides, two outings were organized:  fourth and fifth classes visited the open-air museum in Wdzydze and sixth and seventh classes, the recreation center in Warzenko.

On September 15th, those attending school for the first time, took their vows. First formers were just adorable as they repeated with great commitment the words of the oath. After the ceremony, distinguished guests, teachers and students were all invited for a sweet treat prepared by the Parents’ Council.

It is also worth noting that during the first three weeks of September, the school hosted 3 highly committed trainees.  Jacek Domański, Dawid Kowalewski and Jan Amilkiewicz not only took care of morning lessons and prayers, but enthusiastically participated in integration camps and other initiatives organized by the school.
