The film "Ignatius of Loyola", by JesCom Philippines, arrived in Spain on June 16 with a premiere in 100 cinemas of 14 cities. Before the premiere a preview took place in the sanctuary of Loyola at the beginning of June, and some days later in Manresa.

The Basilica of the Sanctuary of Loyola became a cinema for this preview. Fr. Juan Miguel Arregui SJ was the host of the event, which was attended by the bishop of San Sebastián, Fr Jose Ignacio Munilla, the mayor of Azpeitia, Eneko Etxeberria, and Andreas Muñoz, the actor who gives life to the saint so as the distributor of the film in Spain. Days later the actor went to the Cave of Manresa for the preview.

We interviewed the actor who has incarnated Ignatius, who is grateful to know his figure: "I knew nothing of him in depth and I was very pleasantly surprised ... He is a very brave, conscientious, determinant character. I have learned patience, silence and listening"

Look at the interview.

The film is shot in some locations in our country such as Azpeitia, Artajona, Monasterio de la Oliva, Bardenas Reales, Zugarramurdi, Sos del Rey Católico, the Pyrenees and the sanctuary of Loyola.
