Ethical investments; helping to pay formation expenses; poverty and good use of money. These are a few of the subjects that the treasurers of Southern European Assistancy discussed in a two-day meeting held in Madrid.

Treasurers took time to share their experiences and ideas about how to manage the Society’s funds respecting the ethical Christian values especially in the light of the teaching of Pope Francis’ encyclical Laudato Si’.

They also wanted to express their gratitude to benefactors and donors, and make it known to them that they consider them cooperators in the Society’s Mission in many ways: helping in projects and development programmes in difficult areas of the world and providing aid for Jesuits in formation, among others.
