The second Christian Leadership conference "Follow Your Calling" was held in Zagreb on May 10th, organized by the "Center for Spirituality and Culture Ignatius". The event brought together numerous speakers on the topic of leadership, personal and professional development.

Through interviews, panel discussions and individual speeches, speakers shared their experience, their business and personal stories, with the aim of encouraging participants to take responsibility for change in society and the Church. They spoke about the values that guide them and the sources of motivation for facing personal and professional challenges.

"We are grateful not only to the speakers but also to the participants, who recognized our common mission of building a society of inspired individuals who together build a more just and better world - Kingdom of God." said father Tvrtko Barun, director of the Center Ignatius.

The conference raised important questions about the nature of leadership and the identity of leaders within the Church, but also in the world. Mrs Martina Anđić, the main coordinator of the conference, in her speech referred to the leadership of Pope Francis: "He, through his actions, has shown us what it truly means to follow one's calling. Pope Francis has shown us that leadership is not based on a title, but on simplicity, authenticity and an inspiring example," she said.

The conference was a space for broadening horizons, networking, developing new skills, and questioning existing views on leadership. It demonstrated the importance of creating a space for encounter, dialogue, and personal transformation. In all of this, Ignatian spirituality plays a major role: it helps to live in a concrete context of ours and face very real problems and challenges. It is also a spirituality of generosity, which could be clearly felt during the conference through community, joy, and self-giving. Ultimately, the conference allowed participants to explore Ignatian spirituality in action, especially important in today's world so that we can live faithfully to our calling of being followers of Christ and leaders at the same time.
