Last Summer, more than 350 young people from around the world tasted and relished the beauties of Croatia, its customs, and its people during Magis Europe 2022. They also enjoyed their mutual fellowship and made new friends. All these experiences were shown in the movie Sentir y gustar – To feel and relish, which was named after the motto of Magis Europe 2022. It recalls what St. Ignatius of Loyola wrote in his Spiritual Exercises: “For it is not so much knowledge that fills and satisfies the soul, but rather the intimate feeling and relishing of things.” The movie was produced by the Magis association and directed by Matej Sunara. Sentir y gustar premiered on 20^th January 2023 in Zagreb.

The movie presented more than 50 testimonies in 15 world languages and showed the experiences of young people who participated in 29 different experiments. The purpose of these experiments was to help young people choose what leads them more toward the goal for which they were created. In the movie, one can hear the wishes, prayers, and hopes of the youth. We can also follow them on their various pilgrimages on foot or by bike. We can see them taking care of our common home, by cleaning the beaches and serving in Croatian national and natural parks. We can also observe them during prayer and icon-writing in silence. Finally, we can see them dancing together with God.

People reacted positively to the movie and shared their reactions with their neighbors. One of them commented that this movie showed the beauty of God and how much good Magis can accomplish in a week. After Zagreb, the movie Sentir y gustar will be shown in cinemas across Croatia: Osijek (28^th January), Split (18^th February), Dubrovnik (17^th March), Rijeka (25^th March) and Zadar (13^th May).
