The Slovenian Jesuits published during this Ignatian year an original colouring book for children St Ignatius of Loyola - Jesus' Fiery Friend. The colouring book in Slovenian language is available in a printed version, while our Province website hosts both free versions to download, a Slovenian and an English one. Here is the link to it. The book is suitable for children between 5 and 10 years. The pictures are original, hand painted and have some "Slovenian details" (i.e. the church building architecture on page 22).
The book is not only about telling St Ignatius' life - but it is rather a deeper challenge. The child can colour the image, but also read and think about questions/reflections which are added at the bottom of every second pages.

It may also be of interest to your audience that the book is a product of a very special, inspiring female team: the author of the text is Sister Tina Čerin, a catechist and a social pedagogue, involved in pro-life activities in Slovenia, the illustrator, Janja Račič, is an inspiring survivor of a cruel personal story and a testimony of Christian faith, while the English language translator, Agnes Kojc, is a very bright and charismatic young women living with a cerebral paralysis.
