Pastoral actions in Poland.

On the "onet.pl" portal, Piotr Kropisz SJ wrote today that the state of the epidemic is an opportunity for us to be, especially now, people who give hope.

"I have been observing the Church's work on the web carefully for years. We have never had such a mobilization as in recent days! I am surprised by the number of initiatives, live broadcasts, comments to mass readings, conducted prayers, etc. " - notes father Piotr.

"The pandemic will end sooner and later and we will return physically to the churches, but our mission to bring hope in the resurrection of Jesus will continue" - concludes his statement.

On the "Dredge" channel, the Jesuits propose exercises to help cope with the wave of uncertainty and anxiety. Instead of succumbing to panic, reach for the Holy Bible and the Jesuits will provide you with a spiritual companion who will help deepen the hope that the Savior gives in difficult situations.

Wojciech Żmudziński SJ proposes in the article "Will we become better thanks to a pandemic?" to look positively at the current situation of coronavirus spread. "What opportunities does it offer? Can we become better, learn something, understand something important thanks to a pandemic? (...) we can regain or strengthen faith in people who are hurrying to help others. So let's not concentrate on smart people who want to earn on human fear, but let's make sure that during the crisis we do not run out of time for kindness towards others, for reflection on the meaning of life and sincere prayer.  It encourages us to get to know ourselves and others better, and to remain tender, although we must temporarily replace the warm embrace with "nudging the elbows".
