Fr. Mikolaj Martinjak (CRO) has taken Final Vows. The celebration was presided over by the provincial Fr. Dalibor Renić, in the Queen of the Apostles church in Zagreb's Fratrovac.


Christan Lefta (EUM) has taken First Vows in the court of the novitiate at Genoa in the hands of Fr. Provincial Roberto Del Riccio.

Emanuel Lopes, Diogo Marques Gaspar and Vicente Goes (POR) have taken their First Vows in Coimbra


Jokin González de Chávarri Izura (ESP) has pronounced his first vows in the Society of Jesus, after two years of novitiate in Bilbao. The Eucharist took place in the sanctuary of Loyola, and was presided over by the provincial, Fr Antonio España SJ.


Eamonn Walls SJ (HIB) and Mikhael Ahmad SJ (BRI) professed their first vows in the Society of Jesus at Oscott Chapel, Birmingham.


Eugeniusz Bogusz SJ (PME), Robert Hryniewicz SJ (PME) and Piotr Jarzębski SJ (PMA) have professed their first vows in the Society of Jesus in the Chapel of the College in Gdynia, Poland.


Mikhail Tkalich SJ, native of Russia, was ordained to the priesthood by mons. Rafal Markovski at the Sanctuary of St. Andrew Bobola in Warsaw. The ordination was initially supposed to take place in Moscow, but the place had to be changed because of the war which Russia started against Ukraine in the meantime.

Fr Victor Zhuk SJ has taken final vows in the Society of Jesus in the Church of St. Ignatius Loyola in Vitebsk in Belarus. On behalf of Father General, the vows were accepted by Fr Zbigniew Leczkowski SJ, Superior of the Greater Poland-Mazovian Province of the Society of Jesus (PMA).


Jiří Hebron SJ and Václav Novotný SJ (BOH) were ordained priests on Saturday July 2nd, in the Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary in Velehrad (Czech Republic) by Mons. Josef Hrdlička, auxiliary bishop of Olomouc.


Two Vietnamese Jesuits were ordained priests by Cardinal Péter Erdő in Budapest on 2 July in Sacred Heart Jesuit Church. Tran Van Ngu József SJ és Phamdinh Ngoc József SJ have been living and studying in Budapest since 2015 and 2016, respectively, and are members of the Hungarian province, holding a Hungarian citizenship as well.


In Bilbao 7 Jesuits have been ordained a priest: Borja Miró, Jaime Espiniella, Pepe Castilo, Manu Santamaría, Andrés González, Alberto Cano and Carlos Maza. The ceremony was presided over by the Bishop of Bilbao, Mgr Joseba Segura. Read more
