“What do you think about Dr. Martin Luther?” “Why can’t we celebrate the sacrament together?” Questions likes these were asked by protestant visitors at the desk of German Jesuits in Berlin during the last days of May: The German Province was present with an information desk at the 36th meeting of the protestant church, which took place from 24th until 28th of May in Berlin and which was connected with the Reformation Jubilee 2017.

The Public Relations and Media representatives gladly accepted the invitation of the organising committee to be present at this meeting.  Dr. Thomas Busch (PR Department), Fr. Richard Müller SJ and Horst Günter Schuch (INIGO Medien GmbH, Munich) together with a team of highly motivated Jesuits and four sisters of the Congregatio Jesu discussed various themes with the visitors. It was very impressive to feel that Pope Francis has a excellent reputation and great sympathy among Protestants in Germany.
