A few months ago, the first of the retreats "Accompanying Saint Ignatius" offered by the Commission of the Ignatian Year of the Spanish Province was launched for Jesuits and collaborators.

The materials are divided into three scenarios, according to the steps of Ignatius in his conversion. These scenarios serve as a composition of place to then bring to our reality the experience in which we want to accompany Ignatius. The first of these is centred on Pamplona and several Apostolic Platforms in the province have already carried it out with satisfaction. That first step focuses on the cannon fire in battle: The route of truncated desires, the cannon shots of life, and the return to the family home. The stretcher bearers and those who help us to heal... It is intended to take place at the end of last year or with the start of this one.

The materials for the other two retreats are already available in Spanish for download on the Ignatius500 website. The second one, which is held in Loyola, is about the paths of conversion, physical weakness and the places of encounter with God, the rediscovery of God. It is ideal to be held between October 2021 and March 2022.

Finally, the "Manresa" retreat is about the experience of discernment: the spiritual crisis, discernment in the Spiritual Exercises and openness to enlightenment (the world and companions, the rediscovery of the mission). It is suggested to be developed between March and July 2022.

The materials include prayer sheets, guides for spiritual conversation in groups and scripts for the Eucharist, and can be adapted to the reality and possibilities of each platform, each community, work or institution.
