On the weekend of October 9 and 10, 50 young Pastoral animators from the São João de Brito School in Lisbon, Portugal, met in a Retreat House of the Society of Jesus in the center of the country. It was a strong time of formation and reunion after a long period when face-to-face moments were not possible.

The objective of the meeting was to prepare the pastoral year of the Christian Life Groups (CLG) which are groups of Christian formation and community experience in which hundreds of students between 14 and 18 years of age participate.

The starting point of these days was the reflection about the way of being that we want to share with those who make this journey of faith. It became clear that the most important thing is to learn to guide the youngest in their questions and desires, learning together with them to discover the way that leads us to God.

The formation workshops helped the animators of these faith groups to better understand how their mission fits into the Mission that Jesus entrusts to the Society of Jesus. It was also possible to plan the year, defining the proper objectives for each age.

At the end of the meeting Joana Botelho and Francisca Borges shared how they lived these days: "It's with a huge feeling of gratitude that we left this weekend, excited and, above all, sure that we were given the necessary tools to develop a work of approaching, accompanying and advancing the faith of all those who are part of this community".
