Presentation of the Apostolic Plan.

Each year the Portuguese Jesuits have their "rentrée". It is the closing of the summer and vacation period with a time for gathering. This year, the Casa da  Torre in Soutelo hosted almost 100 Jesuits  from August 31 until September 2. There were talks about collaboration in the mission, the Ignatian apostolic communities and the future of education in Portugal. In the last session the Portuguese SJ were motivated to General Congregation 36 by Father Joaquin Barrero (EMR Assistant) and enthusiastically welcomed the presentation of the Apostolic Plan 2016/2022 made by Fr. José Frazão Correia (Provincial). This plan still has to be approved by Fr. General. 

It was a time of joy and sharing. In the end Portuguese Jesuits were especially grateful to their special guests: Carmo Fernandes (Executive Director of the NGO Leigos para o Desenvolvimento) Teresa Sabido Costa (President of CLC-Portugal) and André Jorge (JRS-Portugal). They and gave the testimony of their experience  working in collaboration with the Company Of Jesus.
